Here is a recent photo from a wedding I did in December! Boy was it cold outside! Thanks to Kyani I didn't get sick but let's talk about the picture. This photo was shot at 1/1600 at F3.5 with a wide angle lens at 800 ISO. I know that's a little high but thank goodness it still came out with the manual settings I had. Photography is alot of thinking and following a process. Practice, practice, practice!

It's been along time for me log in to this and create a post. But here's a photo from the past that someone from across the world in Singapore was asking for from me recently. It's nice to see my work still be requested...

I've had one person told me they liked this picture because it looks like the girl in the photo is running above water! Of course she's not! but the beauty of photography is half the illusion.

I have wonderful news! A photograph I had recently taken just won in a photo contest for its "composition and illusion of depth" according to the photo contest announcers at Photo Laureattes. Though it may not be such a coveted title it's nice to just be recognized. Eventhough I'm not buying the album it'll be published in, it was a little something that made my day!

So I did try out the miracle juice called Kyani and despite my first impressions and doubts I am well convinced that this product is HOT! I am amazed at how I could remember things more and my vision improved. I was so convinced by the product that I managed to snag the title of distributor. oooh ahh. Not so much to make money on this product but to help other people out like my aunt's mother who has alzeihmer's and my mom who has arthritis and my aunt who has diabetes. I am so thankful to John Nonog who introduced me to this impressive product. So I highly recommend this product to everyone who wants to be healthy and stay healthy. It even helps with slowing down aging which is good for me :) I can keep my 25 look forever! LOL

At the heart of the image

Today I juggled so many things but amongst them was reconstructing this photo. It was originally a colored photo I took in Kenya, Africa. With a little bit of manipulation this is what came out.

Flash Complication

Recently I've been attempting to learn more about my flash and my camera. I've been playing around with the SB-800 and it's ability to sync with other same of its kind flashes. I'm using the Nikon D2Xs and a couple of SB-800 flashes. It was very liberating to learn how to use it's remote/master function. I used it on manual as I was taught in a class I just attended and add or subtract the amount of light as I please and with a charm the flash listens. I feel more in control of the output. So far it's looking ok.

I documented the Military Ball celebrating the Air Force's 60th Anniversary this past weekend and came out with one decent photo out of the 200 I took.
